
Gu Yaping is an assistant researcher in the Institute of West Asian and African Studies (China-Africa Institute), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She graduated from the School of History of Zhengzhou University in 2014 and got master’s degree in history. In 2018, she graduated with a Ph.D from the Department of World History, Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her research areas include China-Africa relations, African ethnic issues and African women’s issues. She has published several papers in publications such as International Forum and Arab World Studies.
