Graduated from the Department of History, Fudan University in January,1982, assigned subsequently to the Bureau of Academic Divisions, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences（CASS）. Long engaged in the scientific research management work of the academy’s historical discipline. He has served successively as deputy academic secretary, academic secretary and deputy director of the bureau, selected as a research fellow in 2000. In December, 2010, hold present post.
